Film series when bored

now then. ive been very bored these last few weeks. and i've been going though a series every odd night while playing on the xbox (i love picture in picture)
i've been through the back to the future series, rocky, aliens.
all in 1 evening each.. i fancy doing the police academy series. but well.. apart from the 1st.. they suck. and would take more than an evening to get through. although hellboy is in the last one.
now what else can you recomend..
i was thinking of the mad mamx series. but i've never seen them. they any good?
